Terms & Conditions

TJ Freestyle Academy – Freestyle Ski & Snowboard School

1. Booking & Payment

  • All lessons, camps, and clinics must be booked in advance via our website or approved booking channels.

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your space.

  • We reserve the right to refuse entry to any participant who has not paid in full.
     

2. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Deposits and instalments paid to TJ Freestyle Academy are strictly non-refundable.
    A deposit is required to secure your place in any coaching session, camp, programme, or event.
    Once paid, this deposit, along with any subsequent instalment payments, confirms your booking and enables us to allocate coaching time, slope access, and operational resources specifically for you.

  • By submitting any payment, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • All deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • All instalment payments are also non-refundable, including where a participant chooses to cancel, withdraw, or is unable to attend for any reason.

  • Failure to complete the instalment plan may result in loss of your place, with no refund of any amounts already paid.

  • This policy is in place to ensure fairness to all participants and to cover costs committed in advance to deliver your training.

3. Participant Requirements

  • All participants must be competent skiers or snowboarders and confident on a slope before joining freestyle sessions.

  • Helmets are mandatory. Additional protective gear (e.g., back protectors, pads) is strongly recommended.

  • Participants under 18 must have parental/guardian consent and be accompanied by a responsible adult.
     

4. Risk & Safety

  • Freestyle skiing and snowboarding are high-risk sports. All participants take part at their own risk.

  • TJ Freestyle Academy and its instructors are not liable for injury, damage, or loss sustained during training.

  • All instructions and safety briefings must be followed at all times. We reserve the right to remove anyone acting recklessly or putting others at risk.
     

5. Photography & Media

  • TJ Freestyle Academy may take photos or video footage during sessions for promotional use.

  • Please let us know in advance if you do not wish to be included in any media content.
     

6. Weather & Conditions

  • Sessions will go ahead in most weather conditions, unless the slope is closed or deemed unsafe.

  • No refunds will be given for adverse weather unless the session is officially cancelled.
     

7. Liability & Insurance

  • We strongly recommend that all participants have suitable sports/travel insurance covering freestyle skiing or snowboarding.

  • TJ Freestyle Academy accepts no responsibility for personal belongings brought to sessions.
